SAHARA Las Vegas offers bountiful holiday dinners with all the trimmings

LAS VEGAS (Oct. 30, 2019) – The holiday season is nearly here and SAHARA Las Vegas is stirring up seasonal favorites and fresh new dishes from its diverse culinary program including its newest restaurant, Bella Bistro, and the award-winning Bazaar Meat by José Andrés.


Thanksgiving at Bazaar Meat by José Andrés begins with a selection of small bites including Ferran Andrià Olives served in modern and traditional styles, Croquetas de Pavo (turkey-bechamel fritters), Lucias’s Salad – an endive Caesar salad with parmesan, anchovy and air croutons, Shrimp & Crab Cocktail with pineapple cocktail sauce and avocado, Green Bean Casserole with wild mushrooms and crispy shallots, Delmonico Potatoes with cream and cheddar cheese, Spiced Cranberries with confit mandarins and Ceylon cinnamon and Butifarra & Cornbread Stuffing with confit piquillo peppers. For an entrée, guests may choose from a Bill Niman Ranch Heritage Turkey from Bolinas, Calif. sous vide breast, confit leg with traditional gravy or a Josper-Roasted Turbot from La Coruna, Spain. Finish with pecan pie, pumpkin tart or a roasted apple puff pastry. The sumptuous Thanksgiving spread is $95 per person. Bazaar Meat will be open from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 28.

Bella Bistro will offer a Thanksgiving Feast including turkey breast, focaccia stuffing and brussels sprouts served with sage gravy, potatoes and cranberry ($48). Guests can begin with an Autumn Cobb Salad that includes mustard frill, candied pecan, blue cheese and roasted sweet potato with a pomegranate and maple vinaigrette ($14). To finish, Bella Bistro is serving Pumpkin Pie Tartlet featuring fresh cranberries, spiced cream, candied cranberries and pepita brittle ($15). Bella Bistro will be open from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 28.

Northside Café & Chinese Kitchen will serve a three-course menu beginning with a choice of Roasted Butternut Squash Soup with créme fraiche and fine herbs or an Endive & Pear Salad with pomegranate, brie cheese, pumpkin seeds and a maple vinaigrette. For the main course, Northside offers a traditional Oven Roasted Turkey Breast served with sausage and mushroom stuffing, green beans, mashed potatoes, candied yams, cranberry orange relish and turkey gravy. For dessert, guests can satisfy their sweet tooth with either a Pumpkin Pie with whipped cream or an Apple Tart served with vanilla bean ice cream. The three-course feast is $26 per person. Northside Café will offer its Thanksgiving menu all day on Thursday, Nov. 28.


Bazaar Meat by José Andrés

Enjoy a variety of small plates including Croquetas de Pollo (creamy béchamel chicken fritters), Jamón Ibérico de Bellota hand-cut from the famous black-footed Spanish pig and Ferran Andrià Olives served in modern and traditional styles. Then, guests can dive into an array of savory dishes like The Lhardy’s Madrid Beef Consommé served with sherry and a quail egg, Cannelons Baked Pasta with goose, Iberico pork and foie gras, Pa’amb Tomàquet featuring toasted cristal bread and fresh tomato. Then, enjoy entrees like Milk-Fed Suckling Lamb Cordero Asado with chickpea and spinach stew and Josper-Roasted Monkfish with mojo rojo and lemon served alongside Buttered Potato Puree, Ensalada Mixta with tomato, onion and sherry dressing and Grilled Asparagus with Romesco sauce. Finish with cream puffs, assorted tarts and little cakes. The Christmas feast at Bazaar Meat is $95 per person. The restaurant will be open from 5:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. Christmas Eve and will be closed Christmas Day.

Marking its first Christmas, Bella Bistro will feature Cauliflower-Chestnut Soup with almond milk, gremolata and chili oil ($14), Salt-Crusted Prime Rib served with a twiced baked potato, horseradish, creamed spinach and chianti jus ($52) and Chestnut Buce De Noel with spiced vanilla sauce and candied orange ($15). Bella Bistro will be closed Christmas Eve and open from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 25.

Northside Café & Chinese Kitchen will serve a three-course menu this Christmas beginning with a choice of Truffle-Infused French Onion Soup with truffle pecorino or a Red Wine Poached Pear Salad with gorgonzola, candied walnuts and champagne vinaigrette. The main course features a 14-ounce prime rib served with a popover, green beans, watercress, creamy horseradish and au jus. For dessert, guests may choose from a Cranberry Cheesecake with chocolate sauce or Sticky Toffee Pudding with vanilla bean ice cream. The Christmas special runs $35 per person. Northside Café will offer its Christmas menu all day on Wednesday, Dec. 25.
